Hortus Botanicus, Amsterdam
The Hortus Botanicus is the perfect location in Amsterdam for an engagement shoot. It's an indoor location, so it doesn't matter if it rains and it's bright enough for my photography style. It's quite versatile as well, so you can get enough variety in your photos.
After postponing their wedding to the next year due to Covid, Vy and Davor decided to do an engagement session on their 8-year anniversary. After the photo session they would celebrate their anniversary and their engagement in the traditional Vietnamese way with their families. For the occasion, Vy wore a beautiful traditional Vietnamese ao dai dress.
I loved getting to know Vy & Davor before their wedding day. It felt a bit like a rehearsal for their big day. We had a lot of fun together, we had some good laughs and they were so easy to direct! You can see how natural they are in the photos.

WOW WOW WOW! We are so glad we chose José as our wedding photographer. José is professional, flexible, friendly and communicates very well.
