Hortus Botanicus, Amsterdam
On a drizzly day like we often have in the Netherlands, a botanical garden such as the Hortus Botanicus makes it the perfect location for a photo session. This post-wedding session was a great chance for Sabrina & Ka Yip to wear their wedding and reception outfits one more time!
Sabrina’s wedding dress has sheer lace sleeves that provide a modern twist on a classic style. The floral details of her long-sleeved gown match the beautiful plants and flowers around the botanical garden. Ka Yip, on the other hand, wore a classic blue suit which pairs perfectly with a crisp white long sleeve + dark blue bow tie. Sabrina’s reception outfit was a royal blue flowing satin dress with a sexy beaded bodice that really shows off her elegance.
The transition from the formal look to the more fun and youthful look, like Sabrina's reception outfit, was one of our favorite parts of this session. Sabrina's dress was perfectly suited for this area as it flowed beautifully with every step she took! I could really see how comfortable they got once they were in their reception outfits. They shared an intimate moment in the garden together, making for some stunning photos!
There are so many things that I love about this couple. Sabrina and Ka Yip were amazing to work with, elegant, and very easy to pose. I truly enjoyed my time with them.

Fantastic person to work with! We did a love shoot with José and it certainly did not disappoint! She knows how to guide you, where to stand and how to pose. Communicative always great (responds almost immediately), listens well to what is or isn't possible and is a pleasant person to work with. A positive side note is that José really went for that "X-factor" which gives you a blast of time! We can certainly recommend José for love shoots or wedding shoots!
