Shooting in Amsterdam can be a really troublesome. Why? Because there are so many people everywhere! Getting the right location without people or bicycles(!) disturbing in the background and the right settings what with the sun, wind and rain is not easy, especially not in the middle of the day. Luckily, for this shoot we found the perfect place. This was actually in the city center of Amsterdam, so a lot of people were walking by, but they either stopped to watch us shoot and wait for me to lower my camera or they walked around us. Normally, the thing with people is that they are kind of distracting in the background of the picture, but this was not a problem at this perfect spot. The big building behind Noor also blocked most of the bright sun for us as this was shot in the middle of the day. Learning to shoot in bright sunlight is still on my long list of things to learn about photography. Who can give me some tips?
